This album was released in January 2024. It was initially only going to be a 10 minute single called “All we had”, which was written as an ode to my high school band mates and the sort of artists we tried to appropriate back then (Yes, Iron Maiden, Crowded House). During the time of composition, I went through a huge King Crimson phase and decided to attempt a ‘darker’ KC style B-Side to match the uplifting Yes-style elements in “All we had”. This took quite a few goes and as a result, I suddenly had enough material for a full album.
